Katy Epling is the author of Finding Jesus: A Christmas Devotional, and Katy loves to encourage women to root their identity in Christ. She has made it her mission to live on purpose, for a purpose—and to help everyone she encounters to do the same. We find this purpose by spending time with the Lord and knowing Him better, and the primary tool of this is through Bible study.  During this interview, Katy explains inductive Bible study, which is observing the text, interpreting the meaning, and applying it to our daily lives. Katy also dives into a Psalm to show us how to practically use rhythms study through this book of the Bible.

Laura Garry

Laura has a deep longing to study the Word of God, and she speaks to her journey through growing in her relationship with the Lord.  Bible study is so foundational in our faith, but it is vital not to ignore the relational piece of knowing God on a personal level.  

Asking questions is so important in quiet time with the Lord, and Laura dives into the importance of asking "why" in pursuit of Him.  We have permission to ask God the hard, honest questions.  He is not afraid of our questions, and He invites us to pursue Him with our difficult feelings and honest "why's".  Laura knows firsthand a key to freedom in Christ is facing the origin of the whys with God guiding the way.
