Jacob is a pastor, book-reviewer, and all around theology lover.  Jacob breaks down the vast topic of theology in a practical way, and how we are all theologians.  And although it is incredibly important to study theology, there is no substitute for the value of our own personal relationship with the Lord.

Jacob dives into worth of studying Greek and Hebrew, and how this transforms your understanding of Bible study.  The message of the Gospel remains the same, whether you are reading in Greek or English, and Jacob walks us through the differences in translations and how to use them to the benefit of our studies.  We are given different suggestions and tools on how to begin learning Greek and Hebrew.

Jen Evangelista

Jen wears many hats from a pastor's wife and mom to a Pediatrician and ministry leader. Ultimately, Jen's heart is to help others find creative ways to study God's Word dig deeper into the truth of the Gospel.  Because God is the the Creator, we are creative beings by nature, and Jen's passion is help others gain a love for Scripture by studying using a variety of creative methods. She walks us through the basics of starting to study the Bible and what to do when you get "stuck".

Gabby Ballom

Gabby is a self-proclaimed, multi-passionate helper, and during this session, Gabby shares about how she reflects and responds to God's Word creatively using different tools like sketch-noting.  She breaks Bible study down to the basics and goes over different methods and guides to help people who are just starting out or seasoned in studying Scripture.

Kristin Funston

Kristin Funston is a Christian women’s speaker and the author of “More for Mom: Living Your Whole & Holy Life.” She has helped hundreds of people reset their spiritual health through her 3-step process provided in her Live Well Guide. Her heart is to share the truth that there is more available for us than needed from us, and there is the promise of abundant life that we can live in now. 

Her love for Bible study began as she was nurtured in her local church, and Kristin shares how key it is to keep showing up and being consistent in your Bible study - both on your own and in your local church.  Often times, though, the reality of having "quiet time" is impossible in your lifestyle.  So Kristin shares her four tips on how to have a “quiet time” in the not-so-quiet time: keep Him handy, plan ahead, plan on not following a plan, and do it out loud.
