Do you ever wish you had more wisdom? More understanding of what was going on? More knowledge about who God is?
A verse that I have always found a bit funny is Proverbs 4:5.
"Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn from them."
This verse in the Bible is telling you to get wisdom. I know I need wisdom! How do I go about getting it?!
That's where this reading guide comes in. Where better to find wisdom than through spending a whole year in the book of the Bible known for just that?
This reading guide is put together so that you spend a full year, reading one chapter of Proverbs per day on the day of the month that corresponds with the chapter in Proverbs, and writing a quick reflection out. So on the 1st, you will be reading chapter 1, on the 2nd chapter 2, and so on. At the end of the year, you will have a whole journal full of wisdom that God has shown you through His Word.
The chapters of Proverbs are printed in this journal so that you can mark them up, highlight them, circle words, and make connections. Then, there is a reflection page where you can write what verse stood out to you, or a quick thought that you want to remember. Each month you will be approaching the same passages,
You can start any time of the year, and return to the journal for years to come.
My prayer for you (and me!) is that we won't walk away from this year the same. But that we will seek the wisdom from God, and that we will find it in abundance!
It contains the entire text of Proverbs in the BSB translation.
