How Bible Study Connects You to God,
Even When You Can’t Feel Him
Not Feelin’ It helps women who rely on a feeling to connect them to God balance the knowledge of their head and the faith of their heart with the actions of their hands to know Him intimately. This gives them the confidence to know that God is who He says He is, even when they don’t feel Him.
Meet the Reader
There is a major transition point in one’s life when they go from being a person that goes to church because they are supposed to, to becoming a person with a real and personal relationship with God. Now more than ever, people are abandoning church because they do not “feel” God and do not think that He is relevant to their lives. When the reader decides to attempt church again, she is hesitant but hopeful that God might be the missing piece in her life that can help ease the daily anxiety and depression she is feeling. She is looking for something that will help move past the usual “church” sayings like, “God will work everything out for your good,” and, “God has a plan for your life.” She needs a real and personal relationship with God and is unsure how to do that beyond simple prayers.

Eva is passionate about breaking down the barriers to Bible study so beginners can learn and love God's Word. She helps people learn how to meet God on the pages of the Bible. As a student of the Bible for 17 years, Eva helps women move from intimidated and confused by the Bible to confident in their approach to Scripture. She does this through her podcast Bible Study Made Simple, her course The Word in Color, and her Simple Bible Study Journal.

Over the past 3 years, Eva has gained significant traction online. She started by inviting her friends to read the Bible with her in a Facebook group, and has since led over 600 people through the entire Bible. Eva is the host of the Bible Study Summit that has brought in over 3,200 people from all over the world, and she currently serves over 5,000 people on Instagram (her favorite place to hang out online). She has become well-known as an expert on how to study the Bible and shares content in that vein using strategies specific to each platform.
